*Scope of project and deliverables*

This scope of the project will focus on reviewing and enhancing existing
Financial Oracle Discoverer EUL and reports to take full advantage of Oracle
Projects Accounting tables and structures. The Subcontractor shall work
with functional and technical team members and be responsible for the
following:

1. Review the analysis of Discoverer Reports and prepare for
development.

1. Assist key functional user (s) in reviewing existing design and
configuration issues of current EUL and reporting deployment.
2. Review and assist key functional user (s) in the design and
documentation of an EUL that would take full advantage of standard Oracle
Project functionality and includes but not limited to:
- Approval authority for procurements, travel, cost
transfer ....
- Time and Payroll reporting and validation of business
rules
- Project set up reporting and validation rules
- Project organization structure as it relates to
budgeting reporting and validation rules
3. Assist LLNL server and DBA team in standing up a Discoverer
instance patched to the necessary level

1. Review functional requirements for Discoverer **
1. Assist the user community in defining requirements
considering Oracle Project Accounting and Discoverer. **

1. Lead the configuration and administration of Oracle Discoverer EUL

2. Considering the requirements and functionality, assist the
Discoverer and Project Accounting team in defining the proper
configuration
of each application **

1. Assist in the debugging effort and manage the communication with
Oracle Development

and Metalink.

1. Design and develop analytical and reporting solutions using Oracle
Discoverer and potentially other standard Oracle reporting tools to support
business needs. **

1. Contribute to the overall planning of projects by recommending
approaches, identifying resources, and developing schedules. Anticipate
changes required in the project plans and processes and recommend
alternative approaches. **

1. Assist in the documentation of the reporting environment, data
dictionary, processes, support and user guides. **

1. Provide development and production support for the reporting and
analytic environment including: troubleshooting, new user setup, set up and
administration of EULs, related security, training, performance monitoring
and assisting end-users with ad hoc data requests. **

1. Provide subject matter expertise, training and/or development for
operation/production reports. **

1. Work with functional analysts and IT Operators to support test
production reporting environments including daily administration, batch
processing, configuration management, environment migration, tool automation
and end user acceptance testing. **
