Postion is Principal Software Engineer with a Major Global Medical
Device Company. This company is moving their current sw/hw platform
to a new technology platform which will involve a turnover of their
current product line and architecture. The candidate will be at the
ground floor of this exciting time.
By way of exceptional technical expertise, this position will be
responsible to lead product software architecture, design, and
implementation for several product groups. Additional
responsibilities are to support other project development teams,
clinical engineers, service engineers, quality engineers, test
personnel, documentation, and operations groups.
SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The company will only consider candidates with medical device
software development experience, preferred experience with device
connectivity software design.
--Contribute technology; SW architecture and SW design to multiple
projects. Assist in resolving defects in multiple products.
--Lead the software development effort with requirements analysis,
specification writing, system architecture and design, high level
software design, detailed design, coding, testing, debugging,
integration and documentation.
--Ensure compliance to all internal SOPs and FDA and industry
regulations. Develop and/or improve development processes,
procedures and protocols.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/PREFERRED:
--MS Computer Science or Electrical Engineering required, PhD
preferred.
--Must possess solid technical knowledge of software engineering and
product development in medical device industry.
