The Water and Sanitation Program (WSP),managed by the World Bank and funded through international partnerships with a wide range of external support agencies, is a field network assisting national, regional, and local agencies responsible for water and sanitation to help the poor gain sustained access to service. Team Assistant - Water and Sanitation Program #082532
The Team Assistant will provide primary administrative support to WSP-EAP regional and country office staff, including support for project activities, budget monitoring, organizing workshops/conferenc es, processing transactions, and assisting a number of project consultants. The candidate should possess skills to draft routine correspondence in both English and Bahasa Indonesia; edit materials using proper grammar, punctuation and style; coordinate schedules of meetings, bearing in mind priorities and monitoring changes; and communicate regularly with staff outside the immediate work unit as well as officials outside the Bank. Proficiency in using advanced functions on World Bank standard computer applications will be highly desirable. Proficient English language skills and passing scores on the Bank's entry tests for English grammar and proofreading, Microsoft Office and Typing are required.
This locally hired appointment shall be for a period of two years 'Coterminous' contract. Renewal is subject to satisfactory performance.
