We are looking for production engineers, process engineers or technology operations engineers, preferably with electro-mechanical background, to support our growing product development activities. The ideal candidate should be task-oriented and have the ability to handle interrupts while fluidly switching between several assignments.
Essential Functions:
● Participates in mechanical design of fitness equipment, design reviews and collaboration with manufacturing firms.
● Conducts electrical, electronic, mechanical testing and dimensional inspection of prototypes, finished product, parts, units, or processes to ensure quality standards are met
● Inspects and evaluates materials, parts and audits complex assemblies and processes in conformance to known industrial procedures
● Interprets and assists with implementation of Engineering Change Notices, recommending corrective actions to vendors and component manufacturers
● Assist product engineering department in component sourcing, BOM oversight and verification including managing the control of raw material streams
● Conducts audits, factory visits, ensures closer management of the manufacturing process and recommends corrective action when necessary
● Responsible for hands on operational oversight of the manufacturing process
● Skillfully and thoroughly communicates results both verbally and written with external customers, other departments, and to staff at all levels in a timely manner
● Has a bachelor's degree or diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering, 3-5 years experience in similar capacity, experience in managing production units preferably at least 2 different products / models.
