PROCUREMENT SUPERINTENDENT (PM-SI)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, organize, and control procurement activities in assigned business unit(s) and report to Procurement Head;
- Conduct detail business analysis, forecasting, and modeling in order to devise innovative approaches to reconcile the gap between user needs, cost efficiency, and supplier performance;
- Organize and control the Supervisors, Buyers, and Expeditors in reviewing a wide variety of requisitions and sourcing potential vendors, reviewing bid proposals from vendors and making recommendation; and following up with vendors on goods delivery;
- Evaluate vendors' performance;
- Ensure that records of purchased items, cost, delivery, performance and inventory are well maintained.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma or Bachelor degree in Engineering (or other related educational background) from reputable university;
- 7-9 years experience in the similar type of business (forestry operation, heavy equipment, transportation, construction-
- Good knowledge of Basic Legal, Basic Finance, Basic SAP, and product-related standards and specifications;
- Advanced administrative skills;
- Good level of concentration;
- Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
PORT FACILITY SUPERVISOR (PF-SV)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct, schedule, and supervise for safe berthing / unbearthing of ship / LCT / barge arrival / departure at the port.
- Monitor and ensure that all activity in jetty and shiploader compliant in accordance with company's and international related standards.
- Coordination with ship's agent, custom, and which other relevant institution.
- Ensure all activity at the port properly monitored and recorded.
- Actively investigate and contribute to enhancements to procedure and process that achieve improvements in performance, job satisfaction, and productivity.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Senior High School or academic degree graduated (preferable in Maritime Academy).
- Minimum 3 years experience in the similar position.
- Proven knowledge on berthing / unberthing at jetty.
- Proven knowledge on cargo handling operation (loading / unloading), include equipment and documentation.
- Knowledgeable on port and terminal operation.
- Understanding about quality, health, safety, and environment standards and procedure.
- Understanding of Basic Legal and Basic Finance.
- Good administrative skills.
- Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Computer literate.
- Excellent in English and Bahasa both written and spoken.
- High personal work-motivation, communicative, proactive, and creative.
- High orientation on cost-effectiveness, quality, time-frame, and safety.
