A Major Operator requires a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join them on a permanent residential basis on a refinery project in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The main responsibilities are to supervise the installation, maintenance, repair and testing of a wide range of mechanical stationary and rotating equipment in the plant, such as turbo machinery, gas and steam turbines, pumps, compressors, furnaces, heat exchangers, marine loading arms, steam generators, desalinators, reclaimer, pumps, reactors, conveyors, hydraulic equipments etc. Includes monitoring of work execution and providing guidance and technical advice to ensure conformity to statutory and company regulations and adopting practices commensurate with the company HSE manual, dealing personally with more complex maintenance, and participating in shutdown and turnaround maintenance planning and execution activities and participates in the expansions/modifica
Suitable candidates will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years experience in the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair or major rotating and mechanical equipment in an oil / gas. Petrochemical or Power plants.
On offer is a competitive monthly salary circa 18k AED per month with accommodation, transport and other benefits provided, available on a family status if required.
