A major EPC company is looking for a Project Manager (Infrastructure) to join their team in Kuwait.
The position will be responsible for overseeing and managing the project development from start to finish including ensuring that the delivered project conforms to the project management and execution plans, managing financials of the project, managing internal and external delivery teams, and liaising with necessary stakeholders to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget and to the approved quality.
The candidate will be required to participate, on a need basis in providing relevant inputs during evaluation of project opportunities and will be required to support the Projects Manager in preparing the documents, correspondence and reports for and on behalf of the client.
- Monitor and direct day to day activities of the support and construction supervision teams
- Control and mitigate cost, quality and time issues.
- Cost management and budget control.
- Risk management to analyze and mitigate potential risks
- Monitor and verify resources and costs.
- Implementation of various operations through control, coordination, direction, management and communication of the entire process.
- Development of effective communications and mechanisms for resolving conflicts among the various participants
- Monitor the project in order that actions are not exceeded without the knowledge of the Projects Manager
- Review method statements, work programmes, scope, drawings, technical specifications, reports, budgets and the like.
Future candidates will meet the following requirements:
- B. Sc. Eng from an accredited college or university
- 10-15 years minimum experience in infrastructure / construction industry
- 5 years of minimum experience in related designation / specialty.
- Minimum1 year in the oil and gas industry
- Main experience in hospitals and airports
