A major Oil and Gas Operator is seeking a Production Engineer for their Gulf of Mexico assets. The position entails production monitoring, optimization, short-term forecasting and working knowledge of production operations. You will nfluence deepwater completion design, conceptual through to production
The candidate must have a mminimum of 7 years experience in the upstream oil and gas industry.
Candidates must fulfil the following criteria;
� Interventions such as coil tubing, electric line logging, slickline, perforating and cementing.
� MMS regulatory requirements
� Nodal analysis experience with Prosper modeling.
� Competent with Excel spreadsheets. Direct experience with OFM, and Petex software are desirable.
� Must have experience with Choke Model and uptime analysis
� Must have experience with well test analysis and transient analysis
� Production Forecasting with decline curve analysis
� Experience with Flow Assurance, i.e. hydrate paraffin and asphaltene prediction and mitigation
� Well Integrity
� 7 years oil and gas industry experience
� B.S. or M.S. in an Engineering or related degree
