A Major Oil & Gas Operating Company requires a Senior Process Safety Engineer to join them on a long term basis in Abu Dhabi.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the Owner's Process Safety effort for the execution phase of a project.
- The biggest challenge is the lack of EPCM contractor's skilled and experienced resources.

Primary responsibility is the review of all Process Safety Engineering
deliverables of the EPCM contractor and provision of timely guidance to
the EPCM contractor on all Process Safety Engineering related matters.
- Review of vendor design documentation and incorporation of vendor's design into the detailed project engineering.
- Support the other PMT engineering disciplines and construction, commissioning and operations teams
- Interface with the company's in conjunction with the Project Interface Engineer.
- Interface with the company's team based in Doha for standards, technical guidance and lessons learned
Future candidates will meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of twelve (7) years technical experience in Oil and Gas Process Safety discipline with minimum five (5) in refineries.
- Familiar with applicable international codes and standards.
- Bachelor of Science in Chemical or equivalent Engineering
